The Tusk Ridge Hunter is a bold fixed blade knife with a 140 mm 5160 high carbon steel blade, warthog tusk handle, brass guard and ebony inlay detail.

The blade has a strong hunter-style profile with a long cutting edge, practical belly and controlled point. It is well suited to outdoor cutting tasks, camp use, braai use, hunting-style utility and collection. The blade finish shows a rugged forged-texture spine area with a cleaner satin working section, giving the knife a strong field-ready character.

The handle is the standout feature of this piece. The warthog tusk handle gives the knife a natural, curved form with light cream tones, warm grain movement and organic character. The brass guard adds a classic hunting-knife feel, while the dark ebony inlays create strong contrast against the tusk. The spacer detail and brass pin complete the premium handmade appearance.

The Tusk Ridge Hunter comes with a leather sheath, making it suitable for safe storage, carry and gifting.

This is a knife for someone who wants more than a standard working blade. It has presence, natural material character and a strong outdoor identity, while still being built around a practical 5160 steel blade.

Maintenance and Storage

This knife is made from 5160 high carbon steel, which is not stainless steel. It should be kept clean and dry after use.

Wipe the blade after handling moisture, food, blood, acidic material, salt or outdoor residue. For regular maintenance and longer storage, apply a light layer of SharpWax to the blade before putting it away. SharpWax is suitable for helping protect high carbon steel during storage and general knife care.

Do not store the knife wet or dirty inside the leather sheath.

The warthog tusk handle is a natural material, so small colour variations, grain lines and organic marks form part of the character of the knife.
