A traditional utility knife with just enough colour to make it unmistakably its own.

The Curly Maple Drop Point Utility is the kind of knife that makes sense the moment it reaches your hand. The proportions are familiar, the drop point is practical, and the balance between blade and handle feels deliberately uncomplicated. Then the Curly Maple catches the light and the knife stops being ordinary.

Its approximately 100 mm 14C28N stainless steel blade gives this hunter an easy working size for field use, camp jobs and everyday outdoor cutting. The drop point keeps useful strength behind the tip while providing a generous belly for controlled slicing. It is a shape that has earned its place because it simply works.

The Curly Maple handle brings warmth and movement to the knife, with green G10 liners adding a restrained flash of colour beneath the timber. Brass pins complete the traditional look without turning the knife into a display piece that is afraid of work.

This is a hunter for someone who appreciates a classic pattern but still wants something with personality. Useful enough to carry. Handsome enough to pass on. And individual enough that nobody will mistake yours for the next one.

A compact working hunter built around the proven drop point profile. The 14C28N stainless blade offers practical corrosion resistance and a fine working edge, while Curly Maple, green G10 liners and brass pins give the handle its distinctive character. A traditional field knife with a clean modern touch.

Care and Protection

14C28N is a stainless steel, but sensible care still matters. Wipe the blade clean and dry after use, keep the sheath dry, and avoid storing the knife wet. A light coat of SharpWax can be used for added protection and to care for the natural hardwood handle.

Natural variation notice: SharpThings knives are handmade using natural hardwoods. No two pieces are identical — handle grain, colour and character will vary from the images shown. Photos are taken in a lightbox without post-processing to represent the knife accurately, but your piece will be uniquely its own.
