Frenchie Flipper Folder

The Frenchie Flipper is an elegant handmade folding knife combining modern materials with distinctly South African Wild Olive, featuring an 85 mm blade of 14C28N stainless steel with a sweeping, slightly upswept profile that gives the knife both visual presence and a very useful everyday cutting edge.

The blade opens by means of a flipper and is secured with a liner-lock mechanism, giving the knife the convenience of a modern folding knife while retaining the individuality of a custom handmade piece.

The handle combines beautifully figured South African Wild Olive with a substantial titanium bolster. Thin red, yellow and black G10 liners create a striking accent between the timber and metal and give this particular knife a distinctive personality without overwhelming the natural materials.

At approximately 215 mm overall when open, the Frenchie Flipper is a substantial pocket knife while remaining slim and refined enough for everyday carry.

A genuine leather pouch is included.

Care

14C28N is a stainless blade steel with good corrosion resistance, but the knife should still be kept clean and dry.

Wipe the blade clean after use and apply a light coating of SharpWax or suitable blade oil when required.

Do not soak the knife or place it in a dishwasher. Keep the pivot and liner-lock mechanism clean and free of dirt.

Avoid prolonged exposure of the Wild Olive handle to water or excessive heat. An occasional light application of SharpWax will help protect and maintain the natural timber.
