Ulu
The Ulu is an unusual and highly distinctive handmade cutting knife inspired by the traditional curved Ulu form.
Its broad 120 mm blade is made from 12C27 stainless steel, with a sweeping cutting edge designed to place a generous amount of blade in contact with the cutting surface. The curved profile lends itself particularly well to controlled rocking cuts, slicing and food preparation.
This interpretation gives the traditional form a distinctly outdoor character through the use of a natural deer antler handle. The antler spans the upper section of the knife and provides a comfortable, character-filled grip, with the natural texture, colour and shape making this piece completely individual.
The polished blade is further distinguished by a warthog engraving, reinforcing its African character.
At approximately 170 mm overall and 120 mm across the blade, the Ulu is compact enough to control easily while retaining the broad cutting surface that defines this distinctive style of knife.
A genuine leather pouch is included.

Care
12C27 is a stainless blade steel, but good care will preserve the finish and cutting edge.
Wash the blade by hand after use and dry it thoroughly. Do not place the knife in a dishwasher.
Avoid prolonged soaking of the natural antler handle or exposure to excessive heat.
An occasional light application of SharpWax can be used to protect both the blade and natural handle material.
Store the knife clean and dry in its leather pouch.
