Butterfly Damascus Hunter
The Butterfly Damascus Hunter brings together patterned steel and three contrasting natural handle materials in one striking handmade hunting knife.
Its Butterfly Damascus blade carries a flowing pattern across the steel, creating a natural focal point before the eye moves into the layered handle.
The handle combines Wild Olive burl, giraffe bone and African Blackwood. Each material contributes its own colour and texture, from the warm figure of the Wild Olive to the pale natural bone and deep tone of the Blackwood. Fine black liners tie the different materials together without competing with them.
The result is a richly detailed hunter where the materials themselves provide the decoration.

Character
This knife is defined by its combination of materials. Butterfly Damascus provides movement in the blade, while three very different natural handle materials create layers of colour, grain and texture. No single material dominates, giving the completed knife a balanced and distinctive appearance.
Natural variation notice: SharpThings knives are handmade using natural hardwoods. No two pieces are identical — handle grain, colour and character will vary from the images shown. Photos are taken in a lightbox without post-processing to represent the knife accurately, but your piece will be uniquely its own.
