This is the ultimate full build. In one day. You walk in. You walk out with your own finished knife.  Perfect for Father's Day. And you can send him for alone time OR join him for some special family time.

This experience is built for people who want the real thing, not a quick demo. In one day, you will make a complete knife from start to finish, with coaching at every step.  And it's all done in our Randburg forge.

What you will make?

• A finished knife of approximately 220 mm overall length
• Blade length approximately 110 mm
• A complete, usable knife with handle fitted and finished
• A fitted leather sheath made on the day

What happens on the day?

• Steel selection and layout
• Blade shaping
• Heat treatment stages including hardening and tempering
• Handle fitting and finishing
• Leather sheath fitting and finishing
• Final edge and clean up

What is included

• All materials for the full knife build
• All equipment, tools, machines, and consumables needed for the day
• Hands on training and coaching throughout
• Apron, eye protection, and workshop safety gear
• Gloves if required
• Lunch, coffee, and drinking water

• This product is sold as a voucher
• After purchase, you book your course day from available dates
• Course days are offered on most Wednesday to Saturday sessions until 29 August
• Dates are subject to availability and will be confirmed on booking

Care note

Your finished blade is made from 5160 high-Carbon steel, wipe it clean and dry after use. For storage and corrosion protection, use SharpWax to help protect non-stainless steels, wood handles and leather from corrosion, moisture and fingerprints.
